On To November- Or As I Like To Call It: "F*ck! It's Cold!"

Let's get the matter of the movie list out of the way. The month of October was not a good one for movies. It started out strong, petered out in the middle and began to build up steam again. Here they are with my comments in parenthesis:

  • Serenity- (Watched it twice in October making it a grand total of three viewings. Looking back at it, I still think it was an excellent film.)
  • Doom- (When a film is worse than the lowest expectations, you know- down to your core- it was bad. I warn you: Be ye not so foolish.)
  • The Fog (2005)- (It had a shower scene with Tom Welling. 'Nuf said. Seriously, it was alright. Not fantastico/ not food poisoning.)
  • The Crow: Wicked Prayer- (I like to consider this the end of my Tom Welling sandwich. Two slices of crap with a tasty morsel nestled between.)
  • Gangs of New York- (Loved it. I was all over the main "villain"'s- (supurb acting, by the way)- accent.)

With October ('05) leaving, with it goes this quote: "The greatest obstacle to discovery is not ignorance- it is the illusion of knowledge." -D. Boorstin. I thought it was worth noting and documenting as this online journal is supposed to be like my real life journal and my real life journals tended to degenerate into nothing more than quote holding books written in messy handwriting.

Also to go, this header and background. In it's place is this explanation of a crush, in visualized form.

November is also bringing with it (hopefully) some peace. Both in the outside world and to my internal struggle. Lately all I've been hearing in my head is chatter. It's getting to be a bit distracting and unnerving. I'm going to try taking up meditation again. While on this kick, I'm also looking to stream line a bit more and declutter. I feel snagged by so much in my life. Time to once again crack open the "Life Made Simple"-posts.
