Today is AAP's birthday. Here are 30 things I know about him that you may not:

1. He alphabetizes his cds and dvds.
2. His living room has a japanese theme.
3. He has an ability to be ruthless and so stabbingly honest in e-mails, so much so that in some people's minds he is a god.
4. He loves ponies... but you might know that one.
5. Popcorn, though he's tried repeatedly, doesn't agree with him.
6. He prefers white meat over red meat, if he has to eat meat.
7. He's a pop-culture information center.
8. Sort of tied in with #7, if there was an imdb for music, he would be the leading contributor.
9. He got his online name from Poe, the musician.
10. He has a long and abiding crush for Alyson Hannigan, to the point that if he had the opportunity for a one night stand he wouldn't follow through with it because it would sully the love he feels for her
11. He coined the term Ti-faux (Tivo, get it?)
12. He's the greatest friend one could ever have.
13. He taught himself how to play guitar. He plays very well. And he's humble about it.
14. When he was about 24 he bought his house, (/had it built).
15. He is one of the most determined and thoughtful people I know.
16. He's about six feet tall and has darker, sandy blonde hair. (Ladies?)
17. Whenever I ask if anyone wants gum, he always says no but takes it anyway. So now, I pretty much don't ask, just offer it with a gesture.
18. He says he hates our black cat, Mac, but I know he doesn't really-really.
19. He bounces while playing Guitar Hero.
    
20. He is very funny. And the best part of his funny is how quick it is.
21. Whenever he farts, he does something funny and goofy or runs enough out of the room so that his butt is aimed away from my delicate feminine nose.
22. He won't let anyone else drive his vehicles, not even if he was shot in a bad part of Milwaukee and it was between life and death to get him to the hospital. He would prefer to bleed to death, waiting for an ambulance to arrive.
23. He has a whole line of carefully gathered geek-clothing. The envy of any well-dressed and ironic geek.
24. He makes a mean cowboy caviar. (Ask him for the recipe. It's worth it.)
25. Doritos, sushi, Chipotle, diet Coke... among others are the key to his stomach, aka his heart.
    
26. He purchases the "greener" electricity for his home, even though it costs a little bit more.
27. In his guest room there used to be an unopened bottle of beer which bore his name.
28. His father bought for his house, and therefore for him, a gay lion. *reooor* It rests near his front door. And since that fact doesn't really count, here's another one, he's an only child except for his younger brother.
    
29. He is incredibly generous with his time, self and knowledge.
30. Although this isn't necessarily a fact about AAP, I think it reflect well on him. I know for a fact that both my family and Chilly's family and Chilly and I consider him family.
