(Already, I'm not pleased with my response to TheRacket's work. I know that by saying this I'm going against advice from professional artists with years of experience who advise to never say anything negative about your own work- there are plenty of people out there willing to do that for you. One portrait painter told me that after she finished a portrait she would have to say that it looked amazingly like the sitter, because whether it did or not she, frequently enough, wouldn't get paid. Apparently, most people are reluctant to tell an artist something different than what the artist says, as the artist knows the most about their own work, right?
I don't know if my displeasure is based on the fact that I originally had something else planned and it didn't pan out like I thought, or if it's because I'm in a state of general ennui. Still, I like the image. I wish I had more time, but there's the beautiful conflict of Creativity Exchange. Limited time, unlimited possibilities... and go!)

The words are TheRacket's. Image and blue words are mine:
[the mystery of the wintry shivers]
i find myself haunted by fresh-fallen snowflakes
if ever there was a reason to shiver
or was it the chill of the ice in the air
or a time to forget warmer times worth
that caused me to shiver like poltergeists passing
would be when I'm frightened by winter times' presence
right through me would cause me to do were they there?
as if inside and out of forever be here.
