Chair covers for the living room, alter and mend clothing, door/reminder bags (so people can put mail, keys, dvds to return, books, etc in it the night before as they think of it rather than trying to remember as they dash out the door the next morning), screen inserts, knapsacks, hemming old pillow cases and sheets to make napkins, caps, shopping bags...
